I love aprons! There’s just something about them that catches my eye and tugs at my heart. I am especially fond of vintage aprons. In fact, there’s an apron that Marjorie Reynolds wears in Holiday Inn that I’ve been dying to try to sew.
I haven’t been able to find a pattern for this apron yet, so I just may have to make one. Wouldn’t this be adorable in red gingham and white rick rack for the holidays?
Did you know Holiday Inn actually came out in 1942? Before White Christmas? White Christmas didn’t actually come out until 1954 and features the same Vermont Inn. Holiday Inn is definitely one of my favorite Christmas movies.
If you know where I can find a pattern similar to this one worn by Marjorie Reynolds in Holiday Inn, please let me know! By the way, I’m not “that” old. I just love classic movies and this is one of my favorites!
