25 ideas for using vintage botanical prints and illustrations in your home. Add touches of color to your home with vintage botanical prints!
I love the look of and use of vintage botanical illustrations and prints as wall art in our home décor. I used to think I was the only one drawn to these beautiful illustrations. I just knew they’d make beautiful prints for our home. Through the years, I’ve used them in a number of ways. I’ve ironed them on fabric to make pillow covers and squares for a quilt. I’ve also simply printed them on cardstock and framed them in some of our barn wood frames that my husband’s grandfather made.
I was so thrilled when I saw that Joanna Gaines used them over and over and over again in many of the homes on the popular TV show Fixer Upper. I did a little research in trying to come up with some inspiration for you to use these vintage botanical prints in your home, too. I’m happy to say my research was fruitful and I was definitely not disappointed! Take a look at these ideas for decorating your home with vintage botanical prints and maybe you’ll find new inspiration!
