Supplies vary, of course, depending on what acorn craft idea you plan to make. In the case of my candles, the only thing I needed was the candle vases and candles – which I already had. Here are a few supplies that might be nice to have on hand:
- florist wire
- glue gun and glue
- acrylic paint
- glitter
- paint brushes
- drill and drill bit
- styrofoam wreath
- wire wreath
- ribbon
- twine
- magnets
Although you can purchase most of these items online through places like Amazon (links provided above for convenience), you’re also very likely to find them in your local Dollar Tree. The key to shopping at Dollar Tree is to shop early in the season.
In fact, I was at my local Dollar Tree last week and they were putting out fall decor, Halloween and Thanksgiving items. So, shop early in the season for the best options.
