OK, I hate to admit it but I’ve fallen off my “get healthy” track. Last year I started doing Yoga every morning, walking our German Shepherd dog named Remo and eating healthier. Well, the holidays came, we had a wedding (mine!), and, well, they’re all really just excuses. I keep telling my family how much better I feel when I eat healthier and do my Yoga every morning. So, why am I not doing what I know will make me feel better and be healthier?! Today, I decided to get back on track with my Yoga practice.
If you follow me on social media, you’ve probably seen where I’ve ranted and raved about my favorite Yoga instructor and series – Yoga with Adriene. I even shared with all of you about how changing my morning routine changed my life. So, why is it so hard to get back on track with my Yoga practice? I know if I just “do it”, I’ll feel better. But, when that alarm goes off at 5:15 in the morning, I just tell myself I’ll do it tomorrow and I sleep for another hour.
Well, my most favoritest yoga instructor has a new series called Yoga Camp. Adriene actually started broadcasting or posting the series back in January. Since I missed the kick-off in January, I figured February 1st was a good time to start back into my morning Yoga practice. Yoga Camp is “a 30 Day home bootcamp for your mind, your body and your soul.” Besides the YogawithAdriene.com website, you can find all of Adriene’s videos on YouTube. Here’s a link to the Yoga Camp Day 1 video.
I’d love for you to join me and I think you’ll find Adriene just as genuine, charming and down-to-earth as I do. I really can’t say enough good things about Yoga with Adriene. I’m committed to get back on track with my Yoga practice, won’t you join me?
Here’s to a healthier you!
P.S. Yes, I use and highly recommend the use of a yoga mat {affiliate link}. They really do help provide traction for your feet and hands and cushioning. The following is the exact yoga mat I use and I love it. Please note this is an affiliate link, which means if you click on the link for the yoga mat and purchase this item, I may make a very small commission. However, I only ever recommend products I truly use and believe in. Having said that, I really do like this yoga mat a lot. I can’t imagine doing yoga without it. Actually, I have done yoga without it and it’s a struggle to keep my feet from sliding around on the carpet.
