Bacon Salt
Use this bacon salt in any dish where you want the taste of bacon - steaks, potatoes - even ice cream!
Ingredients
- 12 oz package of bacon
- ¾ cup coarse sea salt
- 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
Instructions
- Cook bacon strips in the oven until they’re crispy (slightly overcooked). Remove from oven, let cool
- In a food processor, blend the bacon strips into small pieces (until a paste begins to form). You can also put them in a freezer bag and crush with a rolling pin.
- Combine bacon, sea salt and pepper in a bowl and stir to blend well. Transfer to an air-tight container and store in the refrigerator when not in use.

FREE Printable Bacon Salt Labels
I created a NEW for 2023 set of printable round labels for the Bacon Salt. The labels were optimized for use with Avery printable labels. The fox design is a 2" label and the modern minimalist design is a 2-½" round label.
But you don't have to use Avery labels. You can also use cardstock, if you prefer. You will want to cut out the round labels with either a pair of scissors or a round 2" or 2-½" paper punch.
