Add a touch of rustic glam to your home decor or gift giving with these burlap coasters!
All summer long, I’ve been sharing various tutorials that incorporate the use of burlap ribbon. See, my friend Carrie at Kenarry: Ideas for the Home is the queen of burlap wreaths. Seriously! She makes burlap wreaths for every season and every occasion and each time I see a new wreath, I think this one’s my favorite. So, it only seemed fitting that she would start offering burlap ribbon in both her Etsy shop and on Amazon.

Do yourself a favor and go buy some ribbon from Kenarry. Her burlap ribbon is soft and so easy to work with. It has a wide weave and the edges are perfectly finished. This burlap ribbon has been a great product for all my DIY burlap ribbon projects. Although Carrie provided me with the burlap ribbon (simply because she and her husband are such gracious people), the project ideas and opinions are 100% my own. I truly love working with this ribbon! You won’t be disappointed!
Well, ever since I got my hands on this burlap ribbon, I’ve been making all kinds of things out of it. Although I have to confess that a few of my ideas were total flops. Maybe I should do a blog post on what not to do with burlap ribbon?! I’ll save that for another day!
Burlap Coasters
So far, I’ve created and shared the following burlap ribbon projects: loopy burlap flowers, burlap napkin ring, burlap utensil holders and now these burlap coasters. I’ve shared each of these projects on Kenarry: Ideas for the Home because it just seemed like the right place to share these creative burlap ribbon ideas. In fact, you can get the full tutorial for these burlap coasters that I made from burlap ribbon over on Kenarry: Ideas for the Home today!
Loopy Burlap Flowers
I just adore these Loopy Burlap Flowers. I’ve incorporated them into several different projects around my home. A couple of years ago, I even helped my grandson make a bouquet of burlap flowers for his mom. They were adorable!
Burlap Napkin Rings
These burlap napkin rings are another DIY burlap ribbon project that I shared on Kenarry: Ideas for the Home. They are so easy to whip up and add just a touch of rustic glam to your tablescape.
Burlap Utensil Holders
These Burlap Utensil Holders were one of my favorite burlap ribbon projects. I guess the reason I like this project so much is that you can customize it for any decor scheme, holiday or event. They really do add a nice touch of rustic glam to any table setting.
Burlap Ribbon Projects
With today’s tutorial on burlap coasters, that makes four DIY burlap ribbon tutorials that I’ve shared here for Kenarry: Ideas for the Home. I hope these projects have inspired you to include a little burlap ribbon in your home decor or DIY projects.
I’ve really loved working with this burlap ribbon and I can’t help but think I just might have more burlap ribbon projects to share with you in the future!
As always, I just love hearing from you and would love to know if you try this or any of the burlap projects. Just leave me a note in the comments below!
Til next time…

Hi, Pam! Thanks for asking about the burlap flowers. I actually shared another tutorial on Kenarry: Ideas for the Home on how to make the Loopy Burlap Flowers. You can find the full tutorial here. Hope this helps!
