Cinnamon Honey Butter Recipe

I originally shared this recipe for Cinnamon Honey Butter on Kenarry: Ideas for the Home. I am really grateful to be sharing this recipe with you and all the fantastic Kenarry readers. This Cinnamon Honey Butter Recipe really is the best! My family occasionally likes to eat out at Texas Roadhouse and they serve this Cinnamon Honey Butter with super yummy yeast rolls. But, I’m telling and sharing a recipe today that’s even better! You can find my original recipe here.

Supplies Needed

I like to mix up my cinnamon honey butter using my stand mixer, but you could also use a hand mixer, or even a whisk. I find the stand mixer just does such a fantastic job of making the butter light and fluffy. If you mix by hand, be prepared to get a nice little workout.

Ingredients

This recipe uses four simple ingredients that you probably already have on hand:

  • butter
  • honey
  • cinnamon
  • powdered or confectioners sugar

How to Make Cinnamon Honey Butter

This recipe really couldn’t be easier.

Step One: Whip the Butter

It helps to start with room temperature butter. If necessary, you could microwave the butter for maybe 10 seconds first. Simply place the butter in the bowl of your stand mixer and let the mixer whip the butter for you for a couple of minutes.

Step Two: Add the Honey

Once your butter is nice and whipped, simply add the other ingredients and whip for a couple minutes.

Step Three: Storage

Now you’re ready to transfer your Cinnamon Honey Butter to your storage container. I like to use Mason jars and the new wooden lids. You can store the butter in the refrigerator for up to six months. This butter is best served at room temperature.

If you've ever eaten at Texas Roadhouse, you've probably enjoyed their Cinnamon Honey Butter or warm rolls. Now you can enjoy Cinnamon Honey Butter at home!

Notes

Honey has a shelf life of just about eternity. Butter has a shelf life of about six months if refrigerated. So, the Cinnamon Honey Butter has a shelf life of about six months if refrigerated. You can also leave the Cinnamon Honey Butter on the counter; you can expect a shelf life of about 5-6 days.
