The Cricut Mug Press helps you to create pro-looking mugs right in the comfort of your own home. Whether you enjoy making mugs for yourself or as a handmade gift, you only need a few minutes to make a true mug masterpiece.
Plus, the results? About as professional looking as custom mugs come. The Mug Press uses infusible ink transfer (sublimation) sheets, pens and markers so the finished custom mug is not only beautiful, but the design is fused to the mug. Why is this a good thing? It makes the designs durable, long-lasting and dishwasher safe.
You simply use Cricut Design Space along with your Cricut Joy, Explore Air 2 or Maker (or other cutting machine) to design and cut/draw your mug design. They tape the design to the mug with heat resistant tape, set the mug in the Mug Press and remove when indicated. It really is that simple!
Materials & Tools Needed for Custom Dad Mug Using the Cricut Mug Press
Before you can make your custom Dad Mug or download the SVG Cut File Designs for Father’s Day, there are a few supplies and equipment that you’ll want to have on hand. These items can be purchased online from Cricut, Amazon or your favorite craft store like Michaels and JOANN. (Links provided below are from Amazon for convenience sake.)
