DIY Fall Burlap Wreaths

DIY Burlap Fall Wreaths

Summer is quickly coming to an end. School is back in session. Friday night football is underway. The pears on our pear tree are ripe and I just made my first fall burlap wreath, which I’ll be sharing with you soon. My friend Carrie at Kenarry Ideas for the Home put together this great DIY burlap wreath tutorial. I followed her tutorial, added my own embellishments and came up with a fall themed burlap wreath. So, I thought I’d share a few of my favorite DIY Burlap Wreaths to help inspire you.

Fall Burlap Wreath

First up, of course, is Carrie’s Fall Burlap Wreath. You can customize your wreath with whatever colored accent ribbon and fall embellishments for the perfect fall themed DIY burlap wreath. It just doesn’t get much easier or prettier!

Rustic Fall Wreath

Crafts Unleashed created this Rustic Fall Wreath using a grapevine wreath. As with any of these DIY Burlap Wreaths, you can easily change out the ribbon, mini chalkboard sign or add your own embellishments to get the perfect fall wreath to adorn your front door.

This easy to make, albeit messy (burlap is messy), burlap wreath is made using a Styrofoam wreath form. I just love all the frayed edges. Doesn’t it just scream “burlap”?  I love burlap and I love this wreath. Hop on over to The Bungalow Blog and follow Debbie’s tutorial to make your own Burlap Wreath.

Burlap & Drop Cloth Wreath

This gorgeous burlap wreath from Craftberry Bush is made with scraps of burlap and drop cloth.

This Grapevine Burlap Fall Wreath with burlap rosettes is the perfect complement to any door. I just love the rustic chic look from A Pretty Life in the Suburbs.

Petal Burlap Wreath

This Petal Burlap Wreath from Find It, Make It, Love It is made from a foam wreath covered in burlap and then the petals are pinned into place. No sewing required. Just grab your burlap, scissors and hot glue gun and you can make this beautiful Petal Burlap Wreath. Melany and Steffanie offer a great tutorial with tons of pictures.

So, that’s my round-up this week for DIY Burlap Fall Wreaths. I hope you are inspired by these fall wreath projects featuring one of my favorite materials – burlap. There are lots of great tutorials on each of these blogs. Don’t forget to check out my friend Carrie’s tutorial on “How to Make a Burlap Wreath with Accent Ribbon” over at Kenarry Ideas for the Home.

Here’s a final look at these beautiful DIY Burlap Fall Wreaths:

    Pam,
I’m so glad you enjoyed our burlap wreath tutorial and were able to create one for your home. I can’t wait to see how it turned out. Thank you, too, for sharing our fall burlap wreath in this round-up. I actually JUST hung it up at our cottage earlier today! 🙂

    Have a great week!
    Carrie

Thanks, Carrie! You are the best! You gave me the inspiration. I’m really pleased with how my wreath turned out. I’ll be sharing it later this week – I think. Thanks, again!
