Learn to make these DIY Terra Cotta Pot Luminaries!
As I was planning what to share with Kenarry: Ideas for the Home readers today, I kept thinking about the Painted Terra Cot Pot tutorial that I shared last year. It was one of my favorite DIY projects from last year and, apparently, a favorite of a lot of the readers of Kenarry, too!
As I was thinking about other terra cotta pot project ideas I could share, I got to wondering if I could make a luminary out of these versatile clay pots. So, I did a search on Google for "terra cotta pot luminary" and searched Pinterest. I didn't really find anything that was exactly like what I had in mind. I did find a couple of YouTube tutorials which led me to believe the project was at least doable.

I gathered up my supplies and tools and set out to experiment. I have to tell you, my first couple of attempts left a lot to be desired. But, after a little bit of trial and error, I was able to consistently produce the results I was looking for. As I mentioned, you'll find the full tutorial on Kenarry: Ideas for the Home. You can also find my video on YouTube.
