Welcome to Friday Five Finds where I share a collection of five creative ideas for a handmade home that I have discovered online. This is a new series where I will share my five favorite creative ideas from crafting, recipes, sewing, and all things handmade that have inspired me. Maybe they will inspire you too!
When I first started this series, I thought I'd probably share my favorite finds once a month. But, so far, it's been more of a weekly share session. There are just so many creative ideas out there that are worth sharing!

Hand Embroidery For Quilters + Video Tutorial
Heather from My Sew Quilty Life shares a very beginner friendly hand embroidery tutorial. I just love how she incorporates hand embroidery in her quilting projects.
Fun Fact: The very first quilt I ever made included hand embroidered blocks that my mother and I made. As you can imagine, hand embroidery (especially in quilting) is very special to me.
There's even a handy printable hand embroidery practice sheet that you can download. So, be sure to do that!
Chicken Cobb Salad with Avocado Ranch.
This salad is so full of flavor and easy to pull together. Fire up the grill, season your chicken breasts, mix up your avocado ranch salad dressing, prepare the salad mix-ins and you have a healthy, tasty, and colorful dinner ready in no time!
Free Library Nook Quilt Pattern
Christine from Modern Charm Stitchery has a fun, beginner friendly, and FREE quilt pattern. The Library Nook Quilt Pattern is totally scrappy and there's even a sew along to go with the quilt pattern.
Be sure to download the pattern.
Crochet Plant Hanger – 3 Sizes
With the onset of spring, it's time to think about gardening and plant care. What better way to welcome in spring than to crochet a plant hanger?!
The crochet tutorial includes a plant hanger in three different sizes.
Bird Feeder with Camera
For Christmas this year, my husband bought me a bird feeder with a camera. He knows how much I enjoy watching all the birds that call northern Michigan home or that migrate through our area.
This is not a DIY project, but it is a product I have truly enjoyed and can recommend. In fact, I have one BIG tip about the camera. If you have frequent visitors to your feeder, you might want to turn off the notifications. Otherwise, you'll receive constant text alerts.
