These gardener’s sugar scrub labels were designed for use with my favorite DIY Sugar Hand Scrub. You can download and print the labels on nice cardstock or print them on labels (round or full sheet – see below for specifics).

Gardener’s Sugar Scrub
You can easily whip up a small batch – one jar at a time. Or make several jars – one for you and some to gift. You can find my favorite sugar scrub recipe here.

Basic Sugar Scrub Recipe
You can, of course, read my full step-by-step tutorial on how to make my favorite sugar scrub here, but here’s the basic idea.
You’ll need a few supplies first:
- Jars (I like these or these)
- Sugar
- Dawn Hand Renewal Dish Soap
- Labels
Instructions:
- Fill your jar 3/4 full with sugar.
- Add 1-2 tablespoons of Dawn Hand Renewal Dish Soap.
- Stir to combine.
- Add more dish soap, one tablespoon at a time, until you have the desired consistency.
- Wipe off any sugar/soap around the top of the jar with a damp cloth.
- Lay the Mason jar lid on top of the jar. Affix label or place cardstock label on top of lid. Secure band.
- Tie twine or ribbon around jar lid.
Note: There may be some settling or separating of the soap and sugar. This is normal. You can simply stir to combine when this happens or add a tablespoon of sugar, then stir to combine.

Gardener’s Sugar Scrub Labels
These Gardener’s Sugar Scrub Labels were designed to fit Avery 22807 round labels. You may also simply print them out on cardstock or full sheet labels, then cut out, place on top of your Mason jar lid and screw on the band.

Summer is the perfect time of year to whip up a jar of this sugar scrub and I think these labels add a really nice finishing touch. Besides, you could make up a dozen jars, print out one sheet of labels and have gifts ready for Christmas gift giving.
By the way, my favorite scent of Dawn Hand Renewal Dish Soap? Pomegranate. My boys, however, love the Peach Almond. There are numerous scents to choose from and I’m sure product availability varies by location. You can also purchase the dish soap online at Amazon.
A jar of this sugar scrub with the Gardener’s Sugar Scrub labels would look darling in a gift basket for a friend who might need a little pampering. How about filling a galvanized pail with a gardening magazine, gloves, seed packets, small terra cotta pots and a jar of Gardener’s Sugar Scrub, complete with this darling floral label?!

Come to think of it, the gift basket idea would make a lovely Christmas gift, Mother’s Day gift, birthday, housewarming or just because gift.
I hope you find these labels as useful and lovely as I do!
Til next time…
