Ball Jelly Jar
Who doesn’t love homemade jams and jellies? They also just so happen to make great homemade gifts. These classic Ball Jelly Jars are the perfect gift jars for jams, jellies, relish, sauces and dips.
Also, if you’re looking for a super easy Strawberry Jam recipe that only makes two pint jars, then I’ve got you covered in this post here. I discovered this recipe a couple of years ago while vacationing on the French River. I have actually tried making this simple jam with other berries and it’s turned out perfectly as well.
Kilner Honey Pot
This Kilner Honey Pot is adorable and functional. It’s perfect for using with infused honey and makes a really nice housewarming, wedding, hostess or Christmas gift. These Kilner Honey Pots are so classic and adorable that I just had to include them in my ultimate collection of gift jars!
I haven’t yet made infused honey, but I’m planning on making a batch as part of my homemade Christmas gifting. When I do make some, I’ll be sure and sure the process and recipe with you here on the blog. In the meantime, if you want to know more about infused honey, you can read about it here, here or here.
Olive Oil & Vinegar Bottles
These Olive Oil & Vinegar Bottles are perfect for infused oils and vinegars. Did you know you can infuse oil and vinegar with herbs and completely change or enhance their flavors? Plus, they make great homemade gifts. And the bottles are classic, flip tops. I truly love the shape and size of these gift jars.
For more on infused vinegar, you can check out these recipes here and here. Which reminds me, I use vinegar in my homemade bathroom cleaner. My kids hate the smell of vinegar. Did you know you can actually use infused vinegar in your homemade cleaning products, too? Yep!
Wide Mouth Mason jars
I use Wide Mouth Mason Jars for all sorts of things, like my favorite Sugar Hand Scrub, dips, sauces, canning vegetables (tomatoes) or even my DIY Vanilla Pumpkin Pie Spice Sugar Scrub. Wide mouth Mason jars make just about the most perfect of gift jars. Their wide mouths make it easy to fill and retrieve the contents.
By the way, these sugar hand scrubs make fantastic homemade gifts for just about any occasion. My family and friends just love them! And, you’ll find plenty of printable labels here or here or here or here on the blog as well!
Amber Glass Bottles
I use these Amber Glass Bottles for my homemade vanilla extract. As with all the gift jars, you’ll want to be sure to wash and dry them before using to make sure they’re as clean as possible.
I simply slice some Madagascar vanilla beans, insert into the amber glass bottles and add enough vodka to fill the bottle and cover the beans. You can read my Homemade Vanilla Extract recipe here.
Weck Tulip Jelly Jars
These Weck Tulip Jelly Jars are some of my favorite gift jars for gift giving homemade jams, sauces, honey, spices – you name it! Weck jars also come in a variety of shapes and sizes.
Weck now offers the ability to purchase these gorgeous wooden lids to accompany their glass jars. I just love them – all of them! So, whether you love the traditional glass lids or the wooden lids, you now have beautiful choices!
Estilo Swing Top Easy Cap Clear Glass Bottles
The Estilo Swing Top Easy Cap Clear Glass Bottles are perfect for oils, vinegars or salad dressing. What I really like about the bottles is that they have a square design and the caps are attached! No more lost caps. Who wouldn’t love getting a bottle of infused oil or vinegar in one of these unique Estilo bottles?
Kate Aspen Vintage Milk Jars
These Kate Aspen Vintage Milk Jars are advertised as party favors. These bottles are, however, perfect gift jars for smaller jars of infused honey, vinegar, oil or filling with homemade hot chocolate mix. The options are endless and the milk bottle look is just timeless.
This is a sampling of just a few of my favorite glass gift jars that I’ve used over the years to gift my homemade goodies.
