There is nothing more precious or more fun to make than handmade baby gifts! Here's a round-up of some of my favorite handmade baby projects.

We're Expecting! Expectant grandparents, that is!
We recently found out that we are expectant grandparents! Our youngest daughter (aka sailor girl) and her husband are expecting their first baby in August 2026.
Needless to say, we couldn't be happier for them or more excited for us! In fact, I can't wait to get started making all the baby things!
In light of our news, I thought it appropriate to share some of my favorite handmade projects for baby. You'll find most of these tutorials and/or patterns right here on The Birch Cottage blog. Others you will find on Hooked on Sewing (my all things sewing website) and yet others from other crafty friends.

I want to thank you for your You Tube Videos on Wreath Making. I had no experience in wreath making at all and now I make wreaths and sell them at craft shows and all the money is donated to our in house charity. I live in an independent living community and it gives me a lot of pleasure to be able to make something so lovely. I am even teaching other residents how to make their own wreaths.
