High School Graduation

What an eventful weekend, full of mixed emotions as we celebrated Owen’s high school graduation.

High School Graduation

Owen is our youngest child and he graduated from high school on Saturday. While we are immensely proud of Owen and so excited about his future, it just seems sad for his childhood to come to an end.

We have so enjoyed watching Owen grow up! Although I’m sure most people feel that way about their children, I can’t help but feel sad. We’ve watched him grow and learn, laugh and cry, succeed and fail, and grow into the incredible young man he is today.

Owen is just such a happy kid. It’s been amazing to see the world through his eyes. He has the uncanny ability to laugh at himself, takes constructive criticism incredibly well, and learns from his siblings mistakes.

He’s an incredibly talented musician who will be attending Baldwin Wallace University where he will major in Tuba Performance. So, although we are really sad to see this chapter in his life come to an end, we look forward with hopeful anticipation for the next chapter.

So, Owen, if you read this, what your dad and I want you to know is that we are so proud and blessed to have a son like you. We believe in you and we’ll be right here behind you, encouraging you and loving you. Now, go show BW what Owen’s got, cause you got this! We love you always!

Thanks for visiting today and allowing me to speak from my heart about our pride for our son.  Til next time…

What a handsome young man with a bright future ahead of him! I can't even imagine how bittersweet this is as you're SO excited and proud of him yet planning to send your baby off to college. Sigh... Time flies when you're having fun, right?
