Learn how to subscribe, access and download files in the Subscribers Resource Library – which is full of free printables for subscribers.
As you browse through The Birch Cottage blog, you’ll find all sorts of printables from gift tags, note cards, and care tags to jar labels, wall art and calendars, to crochet and sewing patterns and even SVG cut files – plus so much more.
To be honest, it’s become quite a chore trying to manage all the printables in a way that would make it not only easy for me to manage, but easy for you to find and access. That’s where the Subscribers Resource Library comes in.

What is the Subscribers Resource Library?
All of the printables that I share here on The Birch Cottage blog are stored in a Google Drive folder. Google Drive is a “cloud based” file storage solution. Please note that files are not available for download directly from The Birch Cottage website.
Using Google Drive has allowed me to easily categorize all 285 (and growing) printables. Plus, since it works much like a folder on your computer, it’s really easy for you to search and browse the subfolders and files.
To put it simply, the Subscribers Resource Library is a shared Google Drive folder that contains a collection of free printable documents from The Birch Cottage blog.

How Do I Access the Subscribers Resource Library?
I would like nothing more than for you to have access to the Library. To do so, you must first be a subscriber.
How to Access for New Subscribers
Here’s how to access the Library if you are a new subscriber to The Birch Cottage newsletter.
Step 1: Subscribe
Before you can access the Subscribers Resource Library, you must first subscribe to The Birch Cottage newsletter. As a subscriber you’ll receive typically weekly emails notifying you of the latest ideas I’ve shared here on the blog and grant you access to the Library.
Step 2: Confirm Your Subscription
Once you complete the above subscription form, you’ll receive an email similar to the below image from The Birch Cottage asking you to confirm your subscription. Simply click on the link that reads “Click here to confirm” in your email to confirm your subscription.

Step 3: Follow the Link
Once you click on the link in the email to confirm your subscription, one of two things may happen:
Version 1:
- If you subscribed on a page (as opposed to using the subscribe box in the sidebar), you may be asked to enter a password, like below. Simply enter the password that was provided to you in the confirmation email. Remember, the password is all lowercase and all one word.

- Once you enter the password, you’ll be taken to the Subscriber Thank You page. Click on the big CLICK HERE image to go directly to the Subscribers Resource Library, as pictured below.

- And once you click on the CLICK HERE link, you’ll be taken to the Subscribers Resource Library. The Library is really a shared Google Drive folder. In this folder, you’ll find many subfolders where I have tried to separate the printables into categories. You can browse the folders or search using the search box at the top of the page.

Helpful Tip
Be sure to Bookmark or save the link to this page in your Favorites so you can easily access the Library at any time.
Version 2:
I am in the process of converting all the subscription forms on The Birch Cottage blog to work in the following manner, like the printable Pinecone Fire Starter Gift Tags mentioned in the email confirmation image near the top of this blog post.
- Once you followed Step 1 (subscribed) and Step 2 (confirmed subscription) above to become a subscriber, you will be taken directly to the document in the Subscribers Resource Library. For example, if you subscribed using the form on the Pinecone Fire Starter Gift Tag page, you’ll be taken directly to the printable gift tags for the pinecone fire starters.
- You will also receive a follow-up email that will provide a link to the requested download as well.

How to Access the Library for Existing Subscribers
If you are an existing subscriber to The Birch Cottage newsletter you already have access to the Subscribers Resource Library. As a subscriber, there are a few things to keep in mind:
- You only ever have to subscribe once. Once you subscribe, you will always have access to the entire Subscribers Resource Library.
- If you find a printable or free download on The Birch Cottage blog that you’d like to download, simply visit the Subscribers Resource Library.
- You’ll find a link to the Subscribers Resource Library in every email you receive from The Birch Cottage.
- You can search or browse the Library, just like you search or browse for files on your personal computer.
- When I release a new printable or download (like my new SVG files), I include a link directly to the download in my weekly newsletter.
