Why Can’t I Just Download Directly from The Birch Cottage Website?

I spend a lot of time creating what I think is valuable content for my readers. I gladly share the documents with my readers (like you) for free. All I ask in return is that you sign up to receive my newsletter.

Plus, there is a risk associated with downloading documents directly from the world wide web and I would rather error on the side of safety. Fun and safe! Which is what I always tell my kids, “Have fun, but be safe!”

In fact, you can find many articles talking about the risks associated with downloading directly from the web, like:

It is dangerous to download files from the internet because of the proliferation of computer viruses, malware, harmful programs and other malicious content. When you download a file, you might also download a virus that could interfere with the normal operations of your computer.
