Learn how to make a Deco Mesh Wreath with a Dollar Tree wreath form, deco mesh, and ribbon in the colors of your choice!
Well, I did it! I finally gave my hand a try at making a Deco Mesh Wreath. I first read quite a few different tutorials, as well as watched several different videos. There are so many different options!
But, I knew the look that was most appealing to me, so I concentrated on the method that I’m sharing with you today in this tutorial.

Deco Mesh Wreath
As you can probably tell by looking at the above picture, I used two different patterned deco mesh ribbons as well as three different wired ribbons to make my wreath.
SUPPLIES:
Besides the rolls of deco mesh and the rolls of ribbon, the only other supplies you need are some chenille stems (pipe cleaners), zip ties, and, of course, a wreath frame.
- 2 – 10” Deco Mesh Rolls (referred to as Color A and Color B)
- 1 – 14” Metal Wreath Frame (I bought mine from Dollar Tree!)
- 3 – 2 ½” wide rolls of ribbon (7 yards each) (I bought mine from Hobby Lobby.)
- chenille stems
- zip ties
TOOLS:
I’ve listed rotary cutter and cutting mat in the below tools list, but you can totally get by with just using a pair of scissors. I happened to already own these items and they make a really quick task of cutting the mesh.
- Scissors
- Rotary cutter (My favorite rotary cutter!)
- Cutting mat
- Wire cutter
