June means that Independence Day here in the good ol’ US of A is just around the corner. So, I thought I’d create some patriotic prints just because I think one can never really have enough patriotic prints!
I love all things red, white and blue, like these five fantastic patriotic decor ideas. I’m hoping these patriotic prints will add a nice touch of patriotic decor to your home and mine.
Land that I Love Patriotic Print
There is nothing that inspires the soul quite like a patriotic song and the lyrics to God Bless America are no exception. These three Land that I Love patriotic prints were inspired by this Irving Berlin song.
God bless America,
Land that I love,
Stand beside her and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above; From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans white with foam,
God bless America,
My home, sweet home.
God bless America,
My home, sweet home.
With all that’s going on in the world around us, it certainly makes me grateful to live in the land of the free.
I think that, just maybe, we as Americans take for granted the rights, freedoms, liberty and protection of civil and personal rights that we have here in America. Hundreds of thousands of lives have been sacrificed through the years and even today on foreign soul by people who believe in life, liberty and the pursuit of equality. Simple little rights like innocent until proven guilty. Can you imagine living where the opposite is true?
Although it would be amazing to visit Paris, see Big Ben or Cinderella’s castle or historical sites like the great pyramids. You would certainly have to use caution and learn about the customs of the areas, rights as a foreigner and tread carefully. We certainly don’t want to live our lives in fear, but sometimes you have to weight the pros and cons and consider for yourself if the risks are worth the reward.
Preamble to the Constitution
This Preamble to the Constitution print is my favorite. I’ve been wanting to create a hand painted wooden sign like this for a long time, but this print will have to do! I’m actually pretty pleased with the way it turned out. I’m planning to print my Preamble on a nice piece of cardstock and frame it in a wooden frame that my husband’s grandfather made out of old barn siding.
Download Patriotic Prints
I’ve saved each of the four patriotic prints as a high resolution PDF. Simply click on the image below of the print you want to download.
I think my favorite is the Preamble to the United States Constitution print. I found the United States silhouette map as part of the General Public License here. I thought I’d share the source file with you, just in case you have a creative idea for using the map image. I would love to tell you where I got the digital copies of the hand drawn stars and stripes, but for the life of me, I cannot find or remember the source. I was going to create some digital backgrounds just like these, but when I found these hand drawn images one day, I downloaded them and saved them for future use. I usually save a link to the source along with the images, but I must not have this time. Really sorry. If I discover the source, I’ll be sure to update this post and let you know.
I truly hope you find these patriotic Land that I love and Preamble prints of use to you in your patriotic home decor, 4th of July celebration planning or simply just because! How do you incorporate red, white and blue in your decor? I’d love to hear about it!
Til next time…

Hi Pam, and the daughter, niece, aunt, wife, mother, and grandmother of veterans I really appreciate these so much. I love many of the prints you have gifted us but these I believe are my favorite. Is there a chance you might make one of the words to God Bless America? I'd also love to see the printables of the military ind=signia... I can hang them all. Thank you again for being so generous. I love your blog.
