Celebrate Mother’s Day with this free printable bicycle floral Mother’s Day card. No matter what you get mom for Mother’s Day, she always, always looks forward to receiving cards from her children. By the way, Mother’s Day is just around the corner – May 18th this year.
Mother’s Day is a bitter sweet day for me as my mother passed away when I was but 18 years old. Truth be told, I’m envious of my friends who still have their parents.
The Mother’s Day printable cards feature a watercolor bicycle with a basket full of watercolored flowers. Perfect for mom, right? Even if mom’s not in to bicycling, most moms are in to flowers and a pretty bicycle basket filled with flowers.
My mother was in a wheelchair. She was born with multiple physical handicaps. She grew up in a time when people (through ignorance) thought that if a person was physically handicapped, they must also be mentally handicapped. My mother was not. She was and is my hero. She overcame so many obstacles in her life and she did it all with a positive can-do attitude. She was amazing! I wish you could have met her. I wish my children and my husband could have met her. She would have loved them and they her!
