Download your free printable labels for homemade spice rub – just in time for your holiday gift making/giving!
I had a reader ask me about the spice rub I shared back in June as part of my Handmade Father’s Day Gift Ideas. As you may have noticed, I’ve tried to be a little more intentional this year about sharing handmade gift ideas for men. Although this spice rub can certainly be gifted to anyone – it makes for a perfect handmade gift for men who love to grill. Or cook. Or eat.
There are lots of spice rub recipes, but this dry rub recipe for Slap Yo’ Mama Butt Rub from That Susan Williams is one of my favorites. So, hop on over to That Susan Williams, grab her recipe then come back here for your printable labels.
How to Use Printable Labels for Homemade Spice Rub
These labels were created using Avery’s Design & Print Online (I love this program – in case you haven’t figured that out already!) and for use with Avery products. But, you don’t have to use the Avery products – it simply makes it sooo much easier for you if you do! Here are a couple of ways or ideas for using these printable labels:
- Use with Avery 22817 Print-to-the-Edge Round Labels – The Avery 22817 are 2″ round adhesive labels. Simply print out the labels and adhere to the lid of your canning jar or the front of the jar. (I personally love these Weck jars!)
- Use with cardstock paper – Simply print out the labels on some nice white cardstock to make a gift tag. Cut out the gift tag, punch a hole in the top, attach some twine or ribbon and wrap around your spice jar.
I left a blank expiration date that you can fill in (I’d suggest using a permanent marker) on the label.
