Set of 3 printable social distancing signs reads Please Maintain a Safe Physical Distance can be used in your home, office, school or event.

I was sitting in my chair at home thinking about something I had read recently concerning the CDC guideline concerning best practices in the workplace. I guess I’ve had this on my mind because I recently returned to work.
And I’m always wondering what else I can do to keep my family safe and healthy during this pandemic. Sometimes, it’s downright scary, frustrating and even overwhelming.
I often find myself saying, “Why can’t everyone just do the right thing so we can stop this virus and get back to living our lives?” I realize not everyone thinks or feels the way I do about COVID-19. But, nonetheless, I worry and wonder what I can do to make a difference.
Protect Yourself and Others – Print Resource

My little contribution is this collection of free printables that I’ve made available here on The Birch Cottage blog and for $1.00 each in my Etsy Shop, The Birch Cottage Shop. I decided to make them available in Etsy because I thought it might reach more people.
As you know, the CDC is constantly updating its recommendations on protecting yourself and others concerning the COVID-19 pandemic. They even have a Print Resource page where you can find all sorts of printables concerning protecting yourself and others.

Here are the printables you’ll find here on The Birch Cottage blog and in The Birch Cottage Shop on Etsy:
- Please Wear a Face Mask
- Please Wear a Face Mask for Family
- Please Use the Provided Hand Sanitizer
- Cleaned and Sanitized
- Please Keep Your Mask on During Session
- Please Maintain a Safe Physical Distance
Social Distancing or Physical Distancing

What is Social Distancing
Here’s what the CDC says about social distancing:
Social distancing, also called “physical distancing,” means keeping a safe space between yourself and other people who are not from your household.
To practice social or physical distancing, stay at least 6 feet (about 2 arms’ length) from other people who are not from your household in both indoor and outdoor spaces.
Social distancing should be practiced in combination with other everyday preventive actions to reduce the spread of COVID-19, including wearing masks, avoiding touching your face with unwashed hands, and frequently washing your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
-CDC (as of August 23, 2020)
