Have you heard the phrase, “there’s an app for that”? Well, that saying now applies to the Instant Pot®! The Instant Pot Recipe App is available for both Apple and Android mobile devices. (You can also find a link to download the apps on the Instant Pot website here.)
What is the Instant Pot Recipe App? Glad you asked! The Instant Pot Recipe App currently contains over 300 recipes for the Instant Pot. The recipes are from “book authors, chefs, health coaches, cooking instructors and bloggers, which cover a wide range of cuisines and a large variety of food.”
According to the Instant Pot website, the creative architect behind this app is Chief Architect Vlad – who just so happens to be an avid Instant Pot cook! Although the app is fairly new, I’m expecting great things out of this app – like recipes we’ll actually use.

In fact, rumor has it that the recipes will also be accessible from Amazon Echo in just a few weeks! That’s kind of funny because my husband asked me if I wanted an Echo for Christmas and I told him I already had Siri and didn’t know what I would need with Echo. I might have to rethink this….
Instant Pot Recipe App
So, when I found out there was a recipe app for my Instant Pot made by the folks at Instant Pot, it was a no brainer and I had to download it and give it a try! Here are a few features that are currently available in the app:
After you download the app and launch it for the first time, you are greeted with a warm welcome. You can click on the Learn More button or skip straight to the recipes. To get the most out of the app, I’d suggest you explore all the options so you can “learn more.” 🙂
Help with Setup
In fact, if you just purchased your Instant Pot, I would recommend you download this app and let it help walk you through setting up and performing the water test before you attempt to use your new favorite kitchen appliance! There are even videos to help walk you through the setup of your Instant Pot!
Setup an Instant Pot Account
If you register with Instant Pot, you’ll have access to write reviews, rate recipes, save your favorites, share recipes with your friends and even create a personal grocery list!
To create an account, you simply type in your username, email address, name and password. Pretty straight forward and they don’t ask for anymore information than necessary.
Once you register, you should see a little message pop-up telling you that your signup is complete.
You’ll now have full access to the features of the Instant Pot Recipe App!
Of course, the whole reason for downloading and using the Instant Pot Recipe App is so you’ll have access to the over 300 recipes, right! Like this Double Chocolate Cheesecake recipe. Recipes are broken down into categories and there’s even a search feature.
Search with Filters
With the Instant Pot Recipe App, you can search recipes using filters. Looking for sugar free recipes? No problem! Korean recipes? No problem! Easy recipes? No problem!
Grocery Shopping Lists
See those checkmarks next to the recipe ingredients in the image above? Just click or tap on one of those checkmarks to add that item to your grocery list.
You can access the grocery list anytime by clicking on the little shopping basket or from the pop-out main menu (three horizontal bars) in the top left corner of the app.
In addition to creating a grocery list, you can also add recipes to your Favorites list simply by clicking on the heart ♥. You can access your Favorites list anytime from the main menu, just like you do with the Grocery list.
There’s even a Helpful Tips section where you’ll find new user tips and helpful tips like how to clean your Instant Pot.
With all these great Instant Pot recipes at your fingertips, the only question that remains is which recipe to try next?
