Usher in spring with free printable vintage bird illustrations!
It’s been a while since I shared any vintage illustrations with you and since spring officially arrives on March 20th, I thought this would be a good time to do exactly that!
I thought I’d switch things up a little bit with these vintage bird illustrations. Plus, when I think about spring, I can’t help but think about birds singing, flowers blooming and nature just coming to life! It’s an amazing season that I so look forward to after our gloomy Ohio winters!
As with the other vintage illustrations that I’ve shared here on the blog, these prints were made possible from the New York Public Library’s Digital Collection. These books and these particular prints I’m sharing with you today are all part of the public domain. Free for you and I to use as we see fit! Pretty cool, eh?!
Vintage Bird Illustrations
There are six different vintage bird illustrations for you to choose from. You can download one or all six!
They’d be great in a grouping or as part of a gallery wall.
You can print out the images, crop them to fit your frame or even make a Magnolia inspired hanging print like this one.
I currently have the Gargany Teal vintage illustration hanging in my bathroom.
But, I may replace it (temporarily) with one of these vintage bird illustrations.
The cardinals with all their babies in a nest just might find their way into my bathroom this spring. I mean, the Cardinal is the state bird of Ohio afterall!
