If you have a Cricut cutting machine, you may be wondering what is Cricut Access, why or if you really need it and if it’s worth it.
Before we delve into deciding if you really need Access or if it’s worth it to you, let’s first talk about exactly what is Cricut Access. Because if you know what it is, what it has to offer and how to use it, that can help you determine if you really need it and if it’s right for you.

But, first Cricut Design Space
If you are a current Cricut® cutting machine or Mug Press user, then you are probably familiar with Cricut Design Space™, the companion software application that allows you to design, cut or press with your machines.
Quite simply, Cricut Design Space is the program that allows you to use your Cricut machine to make all the things. It’s a free program that is also required. You can’t use your Cricut machines without the use of Design Space.
With Design Space you can create a project from scratch, use images and fonts from the Cricut Image Library, or even use some of the predesigned Make It Now™ projects. There are tons of free images and fonts for you to use.

What is Cricut Access?
