Don’t pay for cross stitch patterns when you can find so many beautiful and free cross stitch patterns for free from DMC and Country Living Magazine!
I was admiring the latest free cross stitch pattern in my March 2019 digital issue of Country Living Magazine when I realized that maybe you weren’t aware that there are so many free sources for cross-stitch patterns available online.
So, today I’m going to fix that little problem and share with you my two most favorite sources for free cross stitch patterns. By the way, this is not a sponsored or endorsed post. The opinions are 100% my own. I simply wanted to share these two sources with you because I have found them to be very useful and inspirational.
I hope you find something you can use in your crafting endeavors!

You may know DMC brand from their line of embroidery threads, but did you know they also offer free cross stitch patterns on their website?

But, did you know that in addition to embroidery floss or thread and cross stitch patterns, DMC also offers:

You’ll find all the above and the free cross stitch patterns from DMC here.
Free Cross Stitch Patterns from Country Living Magazine
Okay, you may not have been surprised to find out the DMC is one of my favorite sources for free cross stitch patterns and resources, but I’m guessing that Country Living Magazine might come as a surprise to you!
I first discovered cross stitch patterns from Country Living Magazine way back in 2015 while vacationing on the French River in Ontario. That was the first year my husband and I went all digital with our books and magazines that we carried with us on vacation.
Armed with my digital edition of Country Living Magazine, I would spend the evenings tucked away in our tent reading on my Kindle. (I also use Overdrive for library books!) I had stock piled a few months issues so I’d have something fun to look forward to. Somewhere near the back of that first issue is where I discovered an adorable cross stitch pattern. I made note to check out the link when we returned to civilization (no internet connection in the wilderness of Canada).
Ever since then, I’ve been reading Country Living Magazine and looking forward to the free seasonal cross stitch pattern that they would publish with each issue.
In case you can’t tell, I’m just a little bit fond of the free cross stitch patterns from Country Living Magazine. Most of the images you see in this post are from Country Living Magazine. They are by far, my most favorite source for free cross-stitch patterns.
Free Cross Stitch Patterns for Every Season, Occasion & Decor Style
Like I said, you’ll find free cross-stitch patterns for every season and every occasion, plus something for every decor style from both DMC and Country Living Magazine.
So, if you love to cross-stitch or would like to learn how, you now know where to go for free patterns, tutorials, inspiration, supplies and more!
