Never be caught without Christmas gift tags again when you learn how to recycle Christmas cards to make gift tags!

Never be caught without Christmas gift tags again when you learn how to recycle Christmas cards to make gift tags!

What do you do with all the Christmas cards you receive every year for Christmas? I thought it would be fun/cute/practical/thrifty to make Christmas gift tags out of recycled Christmas cards.

The fun part is the cute ornament shapes.

The practical part is, well, because I had extra Christmas cards and I still needed some gift tags.

So, I got out my extra Christmas cards and decided to recycle them into Christmas gift tags with a little help from my Cricut Maker.

How to Recycle Christmas Cards to Make Gift Tags with Your Cricut

I am sharing the full tutorial over on Ideas for the Home by Kenarry. So, hop on over to Kenarry and learn all about how to make these ornament shaped Christmas gift tags from recycled Christmas cards!

Although I made my ornament shaped gift tags using my Cricut Maker, you can certainly make them with just a pair of scissors or a craft knife.

I’m making a game out of the christmas cards. I take and cut each card in half. take one half put in a box and the other half in another box. Put each box on opposite sides of each other in a room. The person goes to one box and then finds the match in the other box in record time. The object is to see how many you can match.
