Use Cricut Design Space to add some Valentine’s Day charm to t-shirts, bags, mugs and more with this shared Valentine Gnome project file.
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and you have plenty of time to create adorable Valentine Gnome themed t-shirts, bags or even pillows! Add your own personalized text, if you want.
Gnomes are all the rage these days and this set of adorable Valentine Gnomes are no exception. This trio of gnomes each have their own personality – which is so typical, right? And they are just adorable – or at least I think so!
When I saw these gnomes, I just knew I had to do something with them. So, I edited the files to include little red hearts. Which, I think, makes them even more perfect for Valentine’s Day. I’m planning to use iron-on vinyl (also known as heat transfer vinyl or HTV) to create a cute Valentine’s Day themed t-shirt for some super special Valentines.

Then, that got me to thinking that maybe you would like to sue this edited file, too. So, today, I want to cover three things related to this shared Valentine Gnome project file:
- Important things to know first.
- Then I’ll share how to open a shared project file in Cricut Design Space.
- Using Windows computer
- Using iPhone or iPad
- A note on the Project Details screen.
- Next we will talk about how to edit or customize a shared project file.
What to Know About the Valentine Gnome Project File

Here are a few things that I think are important for you to know about working with shared project files.
- First thing you need to know is that this file is available ONLY in Cricut Design Space. There is no file to download. This is true of all shared project files in Design Space – they cannot be downloaded.
- Project sharing is available on iOS and Windows/Mac platforms of Design Space. It is not yet available on Android. So, please make sure you’re using an iPhone, iPad, Windows or Mac computer.
- Anyone can create a shared project file in Cricut Design Space. BUT, the key is to use Design Space elements in your project only. If you try to use uploaded images, you will not be able to share your project.
- The link will direct you to the project details. Simply click on “Customize” to use the SVG file.

For this project, I created a duplicate of each gnome image and then used the Contour function in Cricut Design Space to remove all elements except the hearts. I then changed the color of the hearts to red and attached them to each gnome.
Alright, I could go on and on, but mostly I wanted to provide you with this Valentine Gnome Project and share with you how to access shared Cricut project files.
